Built in 1903 at the edge of the vineyards and 2 kilometres from the village of Artemare, where you will find all the necessary shops and restaurants, the Gîte de l’École is a charming, convivial house with a shaded terrace and a fully private swimming pool with views of the vineyards, the Grand Colombier and the Alps.
Ideally located, you can enjoy the Bugey to the full: hiking on the many trails accessible to all levels, taking on the Grand Colombier (the four-faced “hors catégorie” monster) for cyclists, or riding the ViaRhôna route as a family. The many lakes, including Lac du Bourget (the largest lake in France), are perfect for relaxing moments or water activities.

Are pets allowed?

By booking one of our gîtes, you will be able to book a spa session (see conditions).
What brand is the coffee machine?
Our gîtes are equipped with a Senseo coffee machine and a traditional coffee maker.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is by 10 am at the latest.
How does our arrival work?
The day before your stay, you will receive a text message from Sarah with all the details.
Is linen provided?
As in a hotel, everything is included for your comfort, except beach towels.
I broke a glass, what should I do?
Our policy is to trust our guests: we count on them to replace anything broken during the stay with an identical item.
Are the pools heated?
Our pools are heated by the sun, except for the indoor spa pool.
