Are pets allowed?

All our gîtes are pet friendly, except for the spa suite.

Can we book the spa?

By booking one of our gîtes, you will be able to book a spa session (see conditions).

What brand is the coffee machine?

Our gîtes are equipped with a Senseo coffee machine and a traditional coffee maker.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is by 10 am at the latest.

How does our arrival work?

The day before your stay, you will receive a text message from Sarah with all the details.

Is linen provided?

As in a hotel, everything is included for your comfort, except beach towels.

I broke a glass, what should I do?

Our policy is to trust our guests: we count on them to replace anything broken during the stay with an identical item.

Are the pools heated?

Our pools are heated by the sun, except for the indoor spa pool.

Our stay here was absolutely lovely, we came with two young children and they had a fantastic time playing in the excellent pool. Sarah was super helpful and responsive.

We endured a heatwave up to 36 degrees but the house stayed nice and cool and we were thankful for the shady garden.

We enjoyed exploring the nearby lakes and incredible scenery, would love to come back again!

Het was fantastisch we hebben zo genoten. De binnentuin was mooier dan op de foto’s zoveel sfeer.

De slaapkamers vond ik ook erg mooi en sfeervol ingericht.

Het bed lag goed ook mooi opgemaakt.
Het is een sfeervolle oude plek.
Het zwembad was heerlijk we hadden een aantal warme dagen.

De omgeving is erg mooi.

Sarah en Claude zijn erg vriendelijk we voelden ons erg welkom.

Si, comme nous, vous ne connaissez pas encore le Bugey, faites-vous ce cadeau : réservez un séjour chez Sarah et Claude. Leur accueil est d’une gentillesse rare et sincère.

Nous avons eu la chance d’occuper « Le Rose Cottage », une ravissante petite maison en pierre de taille sur deux étages. Au rez-de-chaussée, une cuisine bleu roi pleine de charme côtoie un salon chaleureux avec sa belle table ancienne en bois.
Mais c’est à l’étage que la magie opère vraiment : une grande chambre lumineuse avec baignoire, douche, sauna, et même un grand écran avec projecteur pour regarder un film depuis le lit.
Chaque détail est pensé avec goût et subtilité, et l’on sent la patte délicate de Sarah, véritablement anglaise dans l’âme.

Et surtout, offrez-vous deux heures dans leur swim spa : une petite piscine à contre-courant à l’eau salée, un grand sauna, une terrasse paisible et une vue apaisante sur le jardin.

We stayed here in the hottest May bank holiday on record , the pool was beautiful and a god send.

The house is also beautiful nicely decorated and has everything you need. The garden has well placed seating areas for sun worshippers and if you wish to sit in the shade .

Our favourite were the swing seats down by the stream, after a long hot day it’s really relaxing listening to the stream and birds. The garden is fenced but down by the stream if you take dogs and have escape artists like ours 😬 they can get into next doors garden through the stream.

You have a nice walk into town where there is a supermarket, petrol station & pharmacy.

Sarah met us at the house when we arrived and is very friendly and helpful. All in all a great holiday stay ❤︎

Derrière les hauts murs d’une Bâtisse typique de l’Ain, il y a cet écrin de calme, de bien être, unique, sublime.

L’accueil est extraordinaire, et le lieu est juste magique avec un spa de toute beauté, une chambre ultra confortable, avec une télévision XXL digne d’une salle de cinéma. nous sommes venus pour nous retrouver après notre mariage.

Ce fut juste un joli petit coin de paradis. nous avons été admirablement touché par la gentillesse de Sarah et de Claude, ce merveilleux petit-déjeuner que je vous recommande à prendre au bord de la rivière avec sa cascade. et le spa avec sa piscine, son jacuzzi, son sauna est juste un délice pour se détendre. nous reviendrons à coup sûr !
