Témoignage de LYNN N.
Without a doubt, the best AirBnB we’ve stayed in. The house is comfortable and charmingly decorated. The bedrooms are roomy and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The kitchen isn’t huge but has everything you need. The living area might be a bit cramped for a winter holiday with more than 4 people but the garden more than makes up for slightly limited indoor space. The garden is massive, with plenty of space for football, badminton, or other games. The area down at the little stream is great for little explorers as is the tree zipline. And of course, the pool – which was brilliant for relaxing at the end of the day. There’s a shady area under the trees close to the pool, which is great if you need to keep an eye on kids but don’t want to be in the full sun. Ideal for families with slightly older children – I’d say from around 8 years old – There’s a shallow ledge on the pool for paddling but the actual pool is about 1.50m deep so probably not great for really little ones or non-swimmers. For us, with young adult kids, it was perfect. We loved the convenience of the wine cellar and Sarah and Claude were perfect hosts – met us on arrival day, and provided great tips for discovering the area – some of which we’d already noted from their website. Two absolute must-sees are sunset on Grand Columbine and the restaurant Trois Chapeaux a couple of villages away, which is absolutely incredible. The house is just on the outskirts of Artemare but within walking distance to all necessary amenities, such as bakeries, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket, etc. It’s very quiet – the only noise was birds singing in the garden!
