We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers and we had a fabulous holiday in this house. The house itself is beautifully decorated, full of character and has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable! Outside, there is the large pool with stunning views, table tennis, a trampoline and children’s toys. Inside, we enjoyed the TVs in the bedrooms and billiards. We felt we didn’t need to leave the house very often! If you do venture out, the area itself is fabulous. It is very quiet (although a great supermarket is only 5 minutes drive away) and it is a really unspoilt area of rural France. There are plenty of walks that can be taken from the house. It is also a good place for cycling. Further afield, we would recommend Annecy, Lac du Bourget, and the view from the Grand Colombier. Sarah and Claude are the perfect hosts. They are very knowledgeable about the area, and go out of their way to make sure you are having a good time. If you are looking for the perfect French rural idyll, then this is for you!
